I loved this book, particularly because of the ending. I like to think that perhaps Sadia and Jake became friends after the dance. I would have loved for Jake to stick around and over time fill Sadie in on their life in that different time, but I don't think SK had that in mind for them.
I've left it for a couple of weeks before reading the ending again. No where near emotional and could think about things a little better. Thanks for encouraging me to have another look.
