Hello everyone. I am new to this website but not to Stephen King's work. I just finished his book, 11/22/63, and have just one problem with. On page 834, Jake reads the article about 28-year-old Sadie being attacked by her ex-husband. This happen in 1963. This means that Sadie was born in 1945 (1963-28=1945). If that is the case (and numbers don't lie); then, by 2012 when Jake sees Sadie again, Sadie would be only 67 (2012-1945=67) not the 80 that Stephen King says. With her being 67 and Jake being 43 (2012-1976=38+5=43) in 2012, they could have quite easily have gotten together and no one would have batted an eye. (If you don't know where I got 1976 from, read page 819.) I hope that Stephen King changes that for the mini-series they are planning.

1963-28=1935 Hence in 2012 Sadie would be 77. Almost 80. :smile2:

I very much enjoy the book. I could hardly put it down. I have been a fan for many years. The Stand was my favorite so far. I also like most of the movie adaptations. I haven't seen them all though. When I read Pet Cemetery, the book scared me so badly that I couldn't see the movie. Same with It. Trying to get my son to start reading him. No luck so far.
