....here's the weird thing about this Deej...had never heard of the YA novel or the series until you mentioned it here, then later the same day...I flop out in my fat man recliner-and my son is just beginning to watch this!.....and Tracy and I are both now hooked....interesting premise, and the acting isn't to bad....
Keep me updated on how it holds up as you continue to watch.

I've been meaning to read the novel for years. I guess I will get to it soon.
My daughter loved the book, and said the author was a very nice guy when she met him a couple of years ago. She was just talking about the Netflix series today--said that she likes it so far
I did a marathon and saw all episodes 2 days ago. I thought it was brilliant and haunting; can't stop thinking about it. Some flaws, but the script did a good job of offsetting most of them. Really want to discuss but don't want to be responsible for spoilers. May start a new topic.

Same as Scott, never knew this existed or that it was a book. I've heard good things from all who have watched so I will also add to my queue for chaffing.
I remember seeing this on the shelf and thinking it would be a good but heartbreaking read. YA is a great genre. Usually easy and fast reads, but intense subject matter. I can blow through one in a few days. I didn't know this had been made into a show. Looking forward to watching it asap.

I finished the book the other night; didn't care for it. That being said, I'm on episode 3 of the TV show and having a GREAT time. The adaptation is much better in this case, IMO.

I have bawled my way through 13 Reasons... it's profound, gritty and so topical. I'm going to look for the book.

I've watched 2 episodes and like it, just haven't had a good chance to really dig in. I will continue with it for sure.
