Who's going to watch the series finale this Thursday? I will be tuned in. It's been on for so long it has become a part of my life over the years. I was never a dedicated watcher (don't really care for Mr. Sheen) but have seen it here and there over time. I'm betting Charlie makes a cameo since there was a closed casket at his funeral........

Honestly, I haven't watched this show since long before Charlie left. I couldn't stand that guy. When I heard that Jon Cryer dressed up as Duckie for Halloween, I Googled it. I HAD to see that. Otherwise, though, I lost all interest when Charlie's cheese really started to slip off his cracker.

I've never been a fan of Sheen's. He's a slime ball. But, the show was funny when he was on as it was tailor-made for him.

I watched off and on. The show had its moments. Unfortunately, not nearly enough to keep us engaged. Grandma liked it more than I, but she tired of it.

My favorite character was the housecleaning lady.
Yes. Love her! I hope she catches on with another show in a similar character. I'm a huge crossover fan. I'd like it if she caught on with the SAME character. Too bad they don't do that.

Sometimes it happens. Robin Williams had a guest appearance on Happy Days as an alien named Mork... and we know how that turned out.

I'd love that character to be on another show. But the writing would have to be up to it.

She used to be on a show way back in the late '70's called Hot L Baltimore. She was hysterical even back then- great comedic timing. I think she played a hooker.

This is the message from Chuck Lorre at the end of the show. It does contain a spoiler. Do NOT read until you've watched the show, if you plan to watch.

"I know a lot of you might be disappointed that you didn’t get to see Charlie Sheen in tonight’s finale. For the record, he was offered a role. Our idea was to have him walk up to the front door in the last scene, ring the doorbell, then turn, look directly into the camera and go off on a maniacal rant about the dangers of drug abuse. He would then explain that these dangers only applied to average people. That he was far from average. He was a ninja warrior from Mars. He was invincible.

And then we would drop a piano on him.

We thought it was funny.

He didn’t.

Instead, he wanted us to write a heart warming scene that would set up his return to primetime TV in a new sitcom called The Harpers starring him and Jon Cryer.

We thought that was funny too."

...she has played that same type of brassy female in almost everything I've seen...she has a deft touch with timing...

I liked how the show went and I especially liked the piano and Charlie part. I'm glad that it happened to Lorre as it would've been somewhat of a mean thing to do to Charlie, but when it happened to Lorre I thought it was a classy move on his (Lorre's) part. I never saw the whole 'Silence Of The Lambs' thing coming. That was a cool twist! I thought that maybe Charlie had just skipped town because he owed so much money to bookies.......
