20. Annabelle. Re-watched it in English, thought that is looked better on a big screen, it was more boring the second time. But still, a good movie. And I am sooo looking forward to the second part of The Conjuring now!

This is the main reason I like these movies. They get rid of dumb and obnoxious actors in a way which makes them finally entertaining.22. Rogue (2007) Australia
A river tour in the outback gets stranded on a tiny mud island with a giant croc stalking the stranded tourists. Of course, many of the tourists are dumb and obnoxious and deserve to be eaten. The movie is a bit familiar but still very good with the added bonus of some beautiful outback scenery. 6/10
I love it too. Just one of my all time favorites ever. And yes, the book is good too.I adore this movie. The book it's based on, The Turn of the Screw, by Henry James, is great, too. One of the best ghost stories I'll ever read.
I have seen all versions of this and I absolutely love this version. I personally think it's the best and really captures the story the best.Just watched The Omega Man. For those of you who don't know this movie is based on I Am Legend.
I liked it. It's very 70's and Charlton Heston is over the top as always. Despite all that I found it enjoyable. I like it as much as the Will Smith version.
27) Masters of Horror-2 more eps. The first was Homecoming, directed by Joe Dante. Pretty dumb, over the top political. Jon Tenney and Robert Picardo turn in good performances, though. The second was Deer Woman. Written and directed by John Landis, it was creepy, gross (in parts) and pretty hilarious. I'd definitely watch it again! I forgot how much I like Brian Benben as an actor--perfect understated performance.
20. Shivers (1975) -
The residents of a suburban high-rise apartment building are being infected by a strain of parasites that turn them into mindless, sex-crazed fiends out to infect others by the slightest sexual contact.
This one took me out of my comfort level. Not sure I would ever want to watch it again.
I didn't even know there was a movie of that! Where did you see it?21. Road Virus Heads North. That's one of my favorite short stories by Sai King, it's strange I have not seen the movie before. It's pretty good. Funny thing was noticingSK books on the floor in the Richard's house in the end of the episode.
It was part of the Nightmares & Dreamscapes series on TNT a few years ago and is available on DVD.I didn't even know there was a movie of that! Where did you see it?
I LOVED and was horrified at the same time by that movie when I was a kid. Anthony Zerbe scared the HELL out of me--he was my personal demon for many years.
If you haven't already seen it, Vincent Price's Last Man on Earth is also based on Matheson's I Am Legend. Good flick!
25) The Exorcist-everyone's probably seen this one, so nothing to say except that it doesn't really freak me out anymore. Kind of sad.
26) Masters of Horror--two more episodes, including John Carpenter's Cigarette Burns. This was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen (and I love me some creepy!). VERY unsettling. DD#2 and I seriously considered just staying on the sofa bed tonight so neither had to go off alone. For Walking Dead fans, it has Norman Reedus in the main position, with Udo Kier as secondary lead.
30. Pet Sematary. Fair transcription of the great sK story.
