21. Re-Animator.
I remember this being scarier! ;-D

22. Damien Omen 2
Not as good as the first one, but still good. The twist at the end was a surprise to me.

23. Silent House
This started out good, a girl is helping her dad and uncle renovate a house. Creepy things start happening. Then it degenerates into a tired storyline so I ended up not liking it very much.

My final list...

1. Pet Sematary
2. Riding the Bullet
3. Thinner
4. Silver Bullet
5. Witchboard
6. The Evil Dead 1981 ftv
7. Cujo
8. Bloodworx ftv
9. Phantasm 2
10. Fright Night 1985
11. Insidious ftv
12. Insidious: chapter 2 ftv
13. Evil Dead 2 ftv
14. Army of Darkness ftv
15. The Bad Seed 1956 ftv
16. Superstition 1985 ftv
17. Hocus Pocus 1993
18. The Frighteners 1996
19. The Omen 1976 ftv
20. The Raven 2012 ftv
21. Re-Animator 1985
22. Damien omen 2 ftv
23. Silent House 2011 ftv

I fell short again this year. But October was a crazy busy month for me. 4 days of jury duty, moving Brandon to his new house, got sick, and then Brandon's surgery and running back and forth to his house taking care of him post-surgery. I think I did ok, considering!

As always, so much fun. Will go back and read through everyone's posts these last few days and catch up on what you all finished up with!

I can only think of two of those: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and Miracle on 42nd Street. Are there others?
I tried to get everyone to pick up on genre month. Each month, someone tells us what genre to watch, and we try to watch at least one movie from that genre.

one month, Westerns, next month romances, foreign film etc.... I had no takers.

I agree it is a fun idea. I would be willing to participate. And I Like Westerns!!!!!!!
I thought of a few that I like, but I presume that we'd have to watch something NEW to us--lol. That's sketchy--there aren't a lot of westerns I like.

Okay, Ms. Dana Jean . Start us off, and let us know the rules: new to us, or old favorites? Genre? How many to watch? Might be fun to have a weekly thing (like the Survey), and everyone who participates could do a short summary (like many of us do for the Halloween Challenge). :)

DJ isn't able to be online as much as usual right now, so may need to come back to this later... possibly even message her about it skimom2 in case she misses your post.

Skimom, I'm on board but dealing with a family issue at the moment. Can you start us off? Pick a genre and you think once a week? someone can pick something new? I'm ready to go!
Oh my darlin'. No worries--you take care of you and yours. Let me start a new thread for it, probably tomorrow morning. I just found out that the reader's luncheon that I'd decided not to attend has me down as a hosting author (!), and I'm scrambling tonight to plan out swag bags, centerpiece, etc. I'll be 4X4 by tomorrow, I promise. Hugging you from afar--family stuff is never easy.

No worries. This can get started any time, so attend to what you need to first. Thank you!
