Okay, Mary Donovan, a new member, inspired me to try to read everything I possibly could get my hands on by Stephen in a year as my 2015 resolution.

If anyone would care to join me, feel free. Read what you want, in whatever order you want, as fast as you want. Post here as you go.

January 1st, I will be starting with Carrie.

Okay. I would join you on this quest but the two stacks of books in my TBR pile(s) would probably attack and kill me. I will be doing some re-reads this year- Duma Key, UTD and 11/22/63 are a few.
Feel free to give your thoughts as you re-read these. Would love to hear if your thoughts change.

Sure, I'll join you! I think I've read everything (except Revival), so it makes sense to start with Carrie again :) I was talking to The Man about The Gunslinger again today (he's a patient and loving person, thank goodness--lol), and I got fired up to go back to the beginning (even though I'm slowly making my way through Revival and Wolves of the Calla right now).

What an excellent idea!!! I'm in! I'm currently reading 11/22/63 for the first time.

Some of the titles on my re-read radar are

Christine (haven't read it since it was first released)

The Dark Half (haven't read it since it was released. Also the blu-ray of the movie has been released and I would like to see the blu-ray but I want to read the book again first)

It (because I like a nice quick read)

The Tommyknockers and Rose Madder (I'd like to read these again because I hardly remember anything about them)

I'm currently reading the DT series for the first time so I guess that doesn't count as re-reading. I need to read Blaze and Insomnia as well.
Does rewatching his movies count? I have a pile of those! :wink2:
No, you can read for the first time and that counts! I will be reading the Tommyknockers at some point. I started it years ago, but only got to the digging up part.

Lol, that's what happened with me and Insomnia. I started it when it first came out, didn't get very far, and never finished it. That will be a 2015 goal. Being on these boards finally got my booty in gear to read the DT series, now they will kick it to read Insomnia!
Hope you like Tommyknockers. It seems to be the least favorite for a lot of people but I enjoyed it.

Thanks, now that I'm older, I hope I can appreciate it better.
