I think in another thread you said you got all the way to the end of Hearts in Atlantis. So does Blind Willie sort of tie in a bit more with the rest now?
I finished Hearts in a Atlantis - The Story, not Hearts in Atlantis - The Novel. Still have Why we were in Vietnam to go before i am done. It does tie in with the rest put it doesn't have the same force as the first two stories. It is more of a compåanion than a solitary story. Both of the first two can stand on it own legs at the same time as they tells a continuing story. I don't think Blind Willie quite manages that. IMO of course.

Keep reading - it sort of all ties together in the end, but I don't want to spoil it for you.

With everything going crazy lately i have been taking a break lately on the King project. But i intend to make a comeback. First in line is finish off Hearts in Atlantis (not much left) and second finishing off Four past midnight (Sun King left). Then we'll see.

Kurben, I hang my head in shame! I had very good intentions, but one shiny thing after another has been dangled in front of me -- here! over here! there!

I am going to try to get on board my own dang thread! You are doing great though!

Thats Life i guess. To quote John Lennon... "Life is what happens while we are busy making other plans". I have found that you can almost always find a good quote in either Beatles or Lennons music. Throw in in Paul and George solocareers also and you are safe. Not quite as complete and covering every subject as Shakespeares collected works but it is close.

This is true! I much prefer Paul to the other Beatles (sorry, other Beatles!), however.

Finished Hearts in Atlantis. I liked it but think the two long stories that began the book are better than the three short ones that ended it. And miss a little info about Carols involvement in the antiwar movement. Feels like that could have filled out the picture even more. There is a story there, i am sure of it.

Stephen had planned to do that several years ago. I'm not sure why he didn't pursue that.

Its a little strange, when i read the book the first time, the first swedish edition, i didn't see this missing piece while it stands out to me now that the antiwar thing is missing. Wonder why i didn't notice it the first time?
