I think next season sounds awesome! I was a fan of Brains, Brawn and Beauty, so this sounds like more of that.

That was a good season, you're right!

I really like that Julie wasn't given any air time on the reunion show, and dislike that Dale wasn't given any.

I also wonder if contestants ever shout at Probst to shut up during challenges. It's got to be distracting in such an intense situation.

Forgot all about Julie until Rocker talked. LOL

Shut up, Jeff! I'm trying to keep this ball on a paddle in 50mph wind gusts!!!:biggrin-new:

I am happy for
Natalie
. Deserved to win, for sure, even though I wasn't a fan in the beginning.

Although Reed's rant was entertaining, and true, I think he could have said all that he needed to say in a less venomous way. On the one hand, he's advocating for Christian love and tolerance, and then he states his case against Missy in a very unkind and unloving way. A "just the facts" stating of the facts would have been enough, and Missy wasn't even a threat to win anyway.

I think Missy would have had a chance if Reed had kept his mouth shut. I think most of the players on the jury had reason to dislike Natalie.

I think Natalie was the most deserving player to win. She played a good strategic game. I don't think Missy had a chance, I can't think of one noteworthy thing she did all season. I thought this season was somewhat lackluster, and then it became good once the merge started.

I would have to give props to Keith, though. It was obvious that he had no idea how to play this game, and it was frustrating, but considering he did the best he could, lol. He won a lot of challenges and he made it far. I think he mostly played the game to experience it with Wes, who's a huge fan of the show, so I think that is sweet :) And Keith seems like a really good guy outside the game. I liked how his "Stick to the plan" line is an inside joke with his firefighter buddies and he can joke about it! (Did anyone see the shirt he was wearing at Tribal? lol).

I still like Reed. That Missy comment--good for entertainment purposes, but would it make me a horrible person to say that I liked his speech?:a11: I thought it was very well-spoken, you could tell he practiced that! Jeff Probst had interesting things to say about that speech he made and about Reed on EW.

Next season--sounds very interesting! Like everyone has said, I hop it becomes another Brain vs. Brawn vs. Beauty, because that is one of the best seasons, imo!

I agree with True, Natalie was the most deserving of the win having played a strategic game. Keith would have been a tougher opponent in the final three, but it was genius getting rid of both Baylor and Keith and taking Missy to the final. Jacklyn got a few votes, but I couldn't see how in the world Missy would get enough what with her having to sit out the final challenges with her ankle. Sitting out, though unfortunate, doesn't get you the $$$.

Baylor still should have won, by the way.........:biggrin-new:

Definitely, OoO! There was a part of me that wanted Keith to make it to the final three. I thought that he was the underdog of the season--and I always root for the underdogs lol (except for Baylor;;D)

Keith in the final three would have made it more of a guessing game and a lot more suspenseful, I think. When Jeff announced the winner I was almost like....well duh......LOL! Still a very good final, but not a surprise.

(except for Baylor;;D)

I'm not sure that the criticism of Keith not knowing how to play the game is so valid -- it assumes that there is A way to play the game, and the past has showed that different strategies work differently depending upon the opponents. Keith's strategy got him to the final 4 and almost to the final 3, where he might have won.

I think Probst knows how annoying he is during challenges. It's all part of the game -- disrupting their concentration, or at least attempting to.

I agree - with all of it! Loved Keith, and I also think he did a great job given his, ahem, disadvantages. ;-D I wouldn't have been at all sorry to see him win.

I like Reed, too. I'll have to go read what Probst said about his speech. I just wish he could have been a little softer on Missy, even though I agreed with everything he said, and it needed to be said, because in my mind what she did with the rice was inexcusable, and Reed was one of the ones who had to pay for her extravagance. I'm laughing, because I'm accusing him of being hypocritical for slamming Missy so hard while touting his Christianity, and I am the Queen of hypocrisy (sometimes). Oh well. And I'm sure he practiced that little speech relentlessly, while drinking mojitos and lying on the beach!

LOL yes! I imagined he practiced it over and over facing a mirror--it was very well-written LOL.

The only thing that peeved me about Reed was his vote for Jacklyn. Really? For him being a fan of the game and saying how he loved Natalie's gameplay, he voted for Jacklyn so Missy would come in third so she could get less money :/
