Good news! I've always believed education should be tax-supported and students shouldn't have to pay any tuition at all. Let's hope more Provinces jump on board and apply pressure to the Feds, forcing them to make the final leap.
It would certainly be in their best interest. I had student loans....they make you poor before you start making money lol.
...yep, when I got my Associates in Nursing I had to find the best paying job I could so the Gubbamint didn't go to the poorhouse if I didn't make my payment...
I just bet that Memorial U in Newfoundland will being getting more students trying to be accepted there from other provinces and the States. I went there first before U or A and there were lots of Americans. It is a beautiful university.
