My right ear gets blocked regularily, I usually go to the nurse to get it syringed out with warm water towards the end of the year. They don't know why it keeps happening or why it's only the right one, but it drives me mad not being able to hear properly. I've been told that if you put a drop of olive oil in your ear once a week it will slow down the build up of wax.

Yay! I can hear!!!

Ear irrigated - gunk and a few marbles came out. Ha!

Antibiotic 10 days for ear infection and I'll be good to go.

Thank you all for your suggestions and concern.

((((((Hugs)))))
Peace.

(When I was deaf, I was very thoughtful and spoke up wayyyy loud so others could hear me.)

Sigmund Glad you're on the mend. But, oh no! 10 days of antibiotics? Dang it!

Hi, Sweetness.

It's all good.

(Sunday was bad. My face hurt...because of the clogged ear and ear infection. Monday, I sneezed and I was on Def-Con 2. The pressure scared me. Monday I was nauseous and dizzy.)

I am on the mend.

>>hugs>>

Peace.

(Antibiotics tend to *kill* all the flora in the gut. I look forward to spending the next two days sitting on the throne. Ha!)

Try to eat a good yoghurt that contains Bifidus and Acidophilus, if you can Sig.

Be careful with that dizziness.

I learned that whenever my son needed stitches he had an ear infection. That was why he fell. He never had traditional symptoms (pain, fever). I suspected hearing loss and I was right. He could lip read by four....self taught.
