Painting I finished after seeing Stephen King in Wichita Kansas 11/15/14, he was promoting his new book "Revival", and mentioned a horrible joke he read on the internet. I was inspired by the talk and ended up painting Mr. King into a painting I had been working on bringing that 6 month process to an end. You can see my painting here... I hope to one day inspire others in the same way King has inspired me with all his wonderful books.

In the painting Mr. King appears to be looking at that naked young lady and then thinking to himself about how married he is and how much trouble he may get into for appearing in your naked lady painting. That's why he has that " ooooohhhh" look on his face. " Ooooohhhhh I'm gonna be in trouble for this! "

I suppose it is hard enough to paint, let alone be the boss of your subconscious.

The image is random bits of what came to mind a collage of sort using various mediums, it had been in process for the last 6 months and has little to do with Stephen King other than the title and random add of his portrait and some jumper cables. The viewer is meant to be left to make their own narratives my hope is that it fuels someones creature mind. As for the painting of Mr. King's likeness it was done with admiration and respect (I love his books and felt inspired by his talk). The female form is beautiful and I often paint nudes... I never use models under 18. Anyway derive from this image and any image of mine what you will the audience always does.
