Ah, Sunday mornings there was nothing else to do in the 70s if you couldn't play outside - no cartoons on, just me and the funny papers and silly putty. I also loved that sound it made when you bit into it. I got in trouble for that all the time. I didn't eat it, just the "click" of biting into it was fun enough.

But about Pope Francis - he's just what the church and the world needed. Humility, kindness, I can't think of enough words to describe him. But I do feel 100% he is showing the world what exactly Jesus had in mind for the way we should live.

Okay, I like this new Pope, and as a recovering Catholic, I have to say that this guy should've been wearing the white yarmulke three or so decades ago, and it's fine that he doesn't put the miter ons. He is very cool.

But a guy runs up and hands him a pizza. What's he gonna do, throw it on the ground? Or throw it back in the guy's face? He acted normally and graciously, like the gracious guy he apparently is. Let it go, folks. There's bigger issues than pizza in play.
Yep.
