oh well thanks my honey and I going on 5 years. he is very supportive of my new found obsession. I jokingly asked him if he was down for a trip to Maine, we are in California so it's a bit of a trip, he was all for it! so I'll be scouring that King Kon section for the time being, hoping we can make the trip that would be so incredible. Both the books I've read were set in Maine, as well as I've seen so many of his books take place there I have this sense of GO SEE IT ALL lol. again thanks for the welcoming everyone. I think I'm going to love this page indefinitely

Also, going to share something I laughed at myself over for a good 5 minutes I decided to start Bag of Bones tonight. for who knows what reason I like to read his author statement first.. and was so stunned to see sort of an ode to the weirdness

Steve doesn't like it when a reader goes to the back of the book. He calls it cheating. I'm just joking with you, I know you'd never read the last chapter before you've read the entire book. Right? Right?

never the last chapter, just the authors statement in the end it never gives the story away just gives me some excitement for it! but it's at this point a habit. probably a bad one lol

I really do enjoy reading the 'Dear Constant Readers' notes or essays that Steve puts in his books. Always have, always will. I like feeling like I have a little connection to him, even though I've never met him face-to-face. I've gone to see him on book tours twice but never actually got to say 'Yo! Thanks for all the wonderful books!'.
