Actors and actress in more the one SK movie

Sorry if this has been posted before. I have notice the that there are a few actors and actress that are in several SK movies, I was just wondering if they seek these actors/actress out or if the they come back for more. Does Stephen King suggest certain actors/actress for movies. Or is that all on the producers ,ect . We have started a little game of six degrees of SK with his movies/actor/actress.

Tryin to think...errr...oh, Ed Harris did CREEPSHOW and NEEDFUL THINGS. Cathy Bates, MISERY and DOLORES. Who else? Tom Savini not only did effects for both CREEPSHOWs, but played a garbage man in the first, and was (under a lot of latex) the live-action Creep in the second. King's in both, too, and tell ya what, I like his acting. He 'gives good idiot', as he once said. Who else? Gotta be more...

Cathy Bates had a bit part in The Stand, Thomas Jane is it The Mist and The Dreamcatcher, David Morse is in The Green Mile, Hearts in Atlantis and The Langoliers. There is an actress (I can't remember her name) She is in Golden Years (the wife) and in The Mist. I know there is more ...just cant think of them all
