Tomorrow I start my new job, Yay! :biggrin-new:

It's my first real Job I guess not part time or an Internship. I guess I am an adult now.
I read a lot of Buzzfeed articles I know some of you read those as well from time to time?

What's your thoughts on beeing an adult? Do you still trying to figure out how to behave and do stuff. Any tipps on beeing an organized adult?

Looking forward to your posts.

I do not believe in maturity and adult any more.

Far too many people get butt hurt and insulting over any sort of disagreement of belief and opinion, because they all think we have to be a soulless mindless automaton.

I just do not understand that mentality.

Sorry, but i will always go my own way.

The Master of Puppets will always be pulling your strings.

Congratulations! Yay!

My thoughts on being an adult? Avoid it as long as possible :). Be a kid whenever possible.

I do better when I'm organized and think ahead.
(I tend to get anxious when I'm not prepared. :icon_eek:) I have at least (at the very least) three days of work outfits ready to go. Complete outfits. (Underthings, clothes, shoes, accessories, etc) My briefcase has all the things I need. Ready to go. Breakfast food at the ready. Lunch etc. Gas in the truck. CASH. CASH in my pocketbook - bills and change.
It's a my Sunday routine that gets me ready for the work week. My routine that prepares me and soothes me. (Anxiety is painful IMO.)

And what skimom2 and Nottie not_nadine posted, too!

Good luck!

(Don't get caught checking out BuzzFeed or the SKMB at work. =D)

niro- I'm the dinosaur and my age says I am an elder adult. Still haven't mastered it. Best advice- be yourself and be true to yourself always. For work- be on time. Make very effort to complete your tasks and do not be afraid to ask questions. Lean from any mistakes you may make and stay positive. Much love and green lights!

All such good advice, like everybody else commenting I am an old adult too.. Best thing I can say is mind your own business, ,shake hands firmly and look people in the eye, and do what you say you are going to do.. Stay out of intrigue and office politics, it's just not worth the hassle in the office and in your personal life.. Good luck on your new job!

My son will not talk politics and religion at work. And he has told his fellow workers that he won't, even when they are deep in it and trying to draw him in.

He says to them, "I won't talk about those things, I want to keep liking you." haoaoheoha!

Yes to the Sunday, laundry getting clothes ready. Makes you feel all relief when it's done and thankful that you did it. All hung up. oh how nice! Lookie!

And you end up wearing something else.

And prep your coffee pot the night before. Ramble in and push the button.

And it's ok to curse after 9 pm on a Sunday. That's written down somewhere.
