I don't watch this show - not because I wouldn't like it - oh no - but because when the family is gathered round yon big screen on Sunday evenings, you'll find me tending to my various motherly chores. So I'm left out of all this fun. On a recent road trip with them I had to endure an hours long conversation about how each of them (not the show zombies or cast, but my family) would survive a Zombie apocalypse. Apparently they think I wouldn't last a millisecond.
I think being a Wife and a Mother is the best training one could have. You're probably killer with a Kitchen Aide!!

Let's not forget the infected from 28 days/weeks later. Unlike the shambling, shuffling zombies of other franchises, those guys (and the infection they carried) were FAST. Plus, their eyes were FREAKY.

I just have to say... when I first saw 28 Days later, I sat down to the film under the impression that I was going to be watching a 28 Days sequel. I was pretty much a Zombie Virgin and so you can imagine my surprise [shock/horror!] when Sandra Bullock was nowhere to be seen.
The pillow I was clutching still bears the scars....

Now that I am a Zombie Veteran... I'm sure I would do better with this one on a re-watch. :D

The first scene with a buck nekkid Cillian Murphy is worth a re-watch alone.

There are actually a lot of similarities between 28 days and TWD. Dude wakes up in hospital and finds out that the world has gone to hell. Michonne in TWD is a lot like Selena in 28 days. Both start out hardened, in survival mode, and soften up when other survivors come into it. There are enough difference between the two that both are enjoyable, though. I keep hoping they'll do a 28 months later.
