Hi! Back from Edmonton and this seemed to be where to post first. Anyone ever had grape vodka martinis? Doubles? Well my daughter and I went out to Chop Restaurant in Edmonton last night and had 3 each. Laughed all the way back to the hotel and kept on laughing
for hours. Last night I thought they were great! This morning we both swore off them for life :tire:

Rest up and take it easy. Do you have to go to work tomorrow? Maybe take some painkillers and drink lots of water :umm::):icon_eek:

Wine: zinfandel and rioja are favorites, but I like a nice pinot grigio, too (especially in the summer).
Hard alcohol: Captain Morgan spiced rum is my favorite (and no, other spiced rums aren't the same thing :p). Enjoy a good whiskey sometimes. Tequila is disgusting and dangerously addictive (two shots, and I don't care how vile it tastes).

So, tequila is your drink of choice.

You may not have had the right tequila. The tequila I get is for sipping, not shooting. Margaritas and shots are simply delivery vehicles for cheap tequila.

Since I just started drinking for my 21st almost 2 weeks ago. I can't sip alcohol, so I like shots. I really like Fireball, Kinky Blue and Kinky Pink, and we have a local bar that has a shot called Toxic Waste that is amazing. I also don't like beer. :/

Likely. I think the best I've had is Jose Cuervo, and that's no great shakes. Ice cold out of the freezer is better, but it still doesn't taste great to me. Doesn't mean I haven't imbibed WAY too much, on occasion, though--lol. As a freshman in college, I drank most of a fifth of something ghastly, broke my ankle, and walked around on it all night because I just didn't care; it was like the pain was being phoned in long distance, with a bad connection. Stupid.

"The best [tequila] I've had is Jose Cuervo" is like saying, "The best beer I've had is Budweiser."

Not to denigrate it. I like Cuervo for margaritas and Jell-O shots with lime Jell-O.
