All Hallows Eve Eve?

I've always called it "Mischief Night" but I was told that's a "Jersey thing". I'm from Philly, so close enough.

Never heard of a name for this. We only counted eve, eve, eve coming up to Christmas.

October 31st is All Hallows' Eve because it's the evening before All Saints Day, November 1st.
I think Halloween is another term meaning the same thing.

Ah......I get it now. Sometimes, I get confused.....didn't even notice the 'eve eve' part of the thread title....

Time to go soaping car windows, shooting peas at stop signs (and getting fake arrested and hauled in by small town cops who laughed and laughed at us)

Then Toilet paper a hedge of the lady that would not let us use her corner for 3rd base.

That was interesting, I thought everyone did! I did not grow up in Jersey but the tri state area. (Pa,De,Nj)

Shame , it was loads of fun.

Suddenly, little kids had to go to a corner store - because they said their moms were out of eggs. Most would not sell them.

I never did the real egg thing. My mom was in on it. She would empty and egg tape it for us, just so we could act like we had one.


I had a cool mom.
