I hear ya Flake. Same here. Had to majorly adjust my brain to mouth filter when I switched jobs...lol
I find it really hard sometimes in the job I'm in now, I can't help it... my default setting is "potty-mouth", but I try really hard not to.
Bumping this thread because I need to look at the bright side of life more than ever.

Saw your bump, realized I'd never made a post, starting reading and I think my heart skipped a few beats- Nate, SharonC--it hit home... hard.

We're getting closer to another anniversary for Sharon... and Naters, there is not a day that goes by that I don't 'talk' to him about something... often, it's just "I miss you Naters, I still can't believe you're not here."

How about some examples of looking on the bright side. Real or imagined.

My long-haired hippy boy has had a lice-scare this week. I think it was a false alarm, but maybe caught early. I spent the day doing laundry, vacuuming, then took him for a haircut, and decided to do a non-medicine treatment. I searched his head several times and saw nothing. And since he's allergic to bug bites, we figure if he had any, it would be obvious.

Anyway, rather then getting upset, he decided....he'd get his hair cut like David Tennant. Now, he's in quite a good mood.

Down side - it's gory! Bright side - probably yummier than it looks!
