wait...why?...what?.... what did Google do? I love Google. It is my best friend. I love knowing all and Google helps me with that. Google helps me prove my other half, wrong...a lot. I like that too.

I'll NEVER think it's bad to like this movie. I actually met, briefly, one of the people IN it. He played Mr. Toomey.
I met him when I worked at a hospital in West Hollywood. He got hurt on the set of his prime time series, Perfect Strangers.
He's the only "celebrity" I ever met who DIDN'T think he was all that, but of course I haven't met very MANY famous people. And all the ones I DID meet - or most of them - were sick or overdosing on some drug.
I like supporting celebrities who have at least a TINY amount of modesty, and he had more than a small amount.

Wow - I am living in the dark ages - I just have Shaw Cable and HDTV and that was a big step for me (to go from the huge old fashioned TV sets to the flat screen high definition ones).

Nah - I like some cheesy movies too. I think sometimes it's really hard to get SK books and stories to be meaningful on film - they just fall short sometimes.
Is it bad that one of my favorite movies (I refuse to delete it off of my DVR list) is
    Meatballs
? I know - its lame. But it makes me laugh like a 12 year old.

When in doubt--either by a movie or book--do as the Blazer does: just roll with it.

I am not too sure about Meatballs, as I do not recall this movie, but I loved Coneheads with Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin

I liked Coneheads too - I wonder why it took them so long to make that into a movie? I was waiting for that for years!

I liked all the Saturday Night Lives with the Coneheads, especially the one where Frank Zappa showed up... Meatballs was good too, I had forgotten about that one...

I just found out that Mobile celebrated the first Mardi Gras in 1703 - who knew?

Funny - I lived in Mobile in 1980 - I was 11. Those paper mills were kind of smelly - are they still there. Certain days the entire city would have that boiled cabbage scent wafting in the air.
