No idea. He knows that's not my jam so we don't usually talk much about horror movies or TV shows. I'll try to remember to ask the next time an opportunity comes up.

I liked it! I did get tired of seeing so much of Sarah Paulson but Kathy Bates was crazy good
and now for some minor criticisms lol...
I think AHS: Roanoak might be better as a binge watch. In episodes 6 through 9, I had to remind myself each week who the real people were and who the re-enactment people were.
I thought the story would've worked better without the Roanoak/Croatan tie-in. Did that seem contrived to y'all?
What happened to Matt Bomer? He was supposed to appear in this season. Did I miss catching him in a scene?
I agree with everything you said! I loved the Bates arc with her REALLY getting immersed in her role as The Butcher. Very clever IMHO. I like Paulson but you're right. When she started talking in a British accent I had to roll my eyes a little bit. Unless she really is British? I can't wait to binge watch the whole season! I haven't seen the finale yet and have only heard yays or nays from friends. Seems like it was a divided ending but I'm looking forward to it! Probably the scariest part of this season to me was that damned cannibal hillbilly family. Hey, it could happen....
Considering that it was by far my favorite season, I'd say no, you shouldn't bother. Show isn't for you.

I'll bet that out of all the different roles Kathy Bates has played, she had the most fun playing her role in AHS Roanoke
Do any of y'all remember that old X-Files episode with the Peacock family? That was really disturbing and somehow Wonderful Wonderful sung by Johnny Mathis playing in the background during the violence made it even more disturbing.

I loved the old X-files....the reboot...ehhhhhh not so much!
