An Appeal to Long Time SKMB Members

I do miss muskrat and his Gary Busey fascination. I miss a lot about the other board. I always found the God Bomb social group assuring. Same for the Writers Group.

I joined in 2008, but I still consider myself a newbie and try to mind my Ps and Qs with the old timers who came here before me.

Personally, I've always liked the What's Your Theme Song thread. I love seeing what tunes people are listening to and sometimes I discover something new or rediscover something old.

Thanks. I suppose it is painfully obvious how little I dig around some of the sections of this board. I miss the little group icons on my profile that were one click away.

I'd separate the wheat from the chaff if I were you. Sometimes you stumble on some pretty good chaff when you are searching through bushels of wheat! Wheat is okay and all but chaff is where the unexpected happens. Sometimes you need to walk into the bush to get the two birds. I once saved 9 dollars by using stem strings from a thyme plant to sew up my gunna sack. Happy discoveries, from Bad in French.
