Hello everybody!

I have discovered King's works about half a year ago and so far managed to read nine and a half of his books (with 'a half' consisting of a quarter of "It" which I am reading since Thursday, and the half of "Colorado Kid" which I have abandoned after not getting into the story at all), two of which are short story collections.

My absolute favorite King novel so far has been "Dead Zone" in spite of some flaws, but "It" is already about to surpass this novel. In general, my favorite King story is "The Body" from his "Different Seasons" collection - I already loved the movie, but the story turned out to be even more enthralling to me. My intention is to read King's novels in order as far as possible, and so far, "It" and "Colorado Kid" were the only exceptions to this intention.:wink-new:

To my person, I am eighteen years old and studying in Germany. I am reading King's novels alternately in German and English, since I'm a native German speaker, but try to read as many books in English as possible.

Looking forward to discussing King's novels with fellow fans of his works in future!

Thank you all for your nice welcome messages! :)

GNTLGNT: I might try later on, but currently, I have other King novels on my mind. I've buyed "Firestarter" today, hooray!

mal: I can imagine that a King re-read would be great fun. A friend of mine has reread them all in the course of half a year two years ago. I can't believe someone has actually done this; I needed half a year for only nine of King's novels. ;-D
