I once had this co-worker than sang off-key really loud when he worked. We worked overnight stocking shelves I wanted to say shut it to him every night but I didn't because I'm the timid type, the don't-cause-waves type.

I need help with two of my immediate co-workers, I just do not know what to do with them any point. Their work ethic is ****. And one girl made a huge issue about me telling her to put on her safety gloves. I was like wtf? I am on the health and safety comity, so I have to right to tell her to put on her gloves.. and when no one was looking she gave me some stupid look that said see I am whering my gloves. And then she toke them off and was still not whering them, so I was like o.k. Fine go and cut your hands off see if I care. She told me that it's just books it's not going to cut me, and I said yes it's just books but still their is black mood on the books, and sometimes people put sharp objects in them. I whanted to plant a few knives in the totes so she whould understand.

I am opean tomsuggestions on how to deal with these people.

Ye gods, I'm now the head builder at work, making these stupid damn trusses. Two idiots working with me, been here longer than me (one guy for ten bloody years) and they follow me around like lost puppy dogs asking what to do. I mean, c'mon, man! You guys been doing this longer than I have, get the lead outta yer behinds! Act like you been here before!

This place is gonna be hurting when I return to orthopedics-- which shall be soon. Oh yes.

I'm a master medical steel worker. I don't pound nails into wood. This is lame.

See this is how I fell with my other two co-workers, like use your ****ing heads. I ended up pouring my heart out to my two assistant managers. I do think it will get resolved. And in the mean time I have decided to try and work on not getting frustrated with them. If they do not whant to where gloves and potentially slice of their hands then go ahead

If employees won't comply with safety regulations, and OSHA finds out, your employer can be penalized or fined. I'm glad you told your superiors because they would be responsible and their jobs could be on the line. Unfortunately, the employee breaking the rules won't be held accountable but I believe, ultimately, they can be fired for not complying. This is where a manager or someone in leadership needs to clearly state the rules and expectations to everyone. If they fail to follow the safety guidelines (which are in place for their own safety) then they should be terminated.

I worked with this older french waiter named Alain. He would get so very snooty during work. He would drive us all crazy. He did not have to be a waiter. He was an accountant who loved being a waiter lol. During tax time he would take time off for his other business. Anyway, this man was a sweetheart when he wasnt in his apron. The owner and him would have some dandy fights. She would not get rid of him because he basically came with the place and was there longer than her.
