Stephen King is one of those people who's always been around for me. Like, e.g., the Queen.

Someone said (unoriginally) "Stephen King is like pizza - even when he's bad, he's still pretty good"

I have to agree, and although I know it isn't likely, I'd like Steve to read this post and these words - "You know what? Your books are pretty good actually. Even when they ain't so good I re-read them anyway - because you're a ****ing good writer."

Well, it's the words of just another "Dear Reader". You have a lot.

Welcome. If Stephen King were a pizza, he/it would come with at least seven (of my favorite) toppings.
  1. Pepperoni
  2. Mushrooms
  3. Onions
  4. Sausage
  5. Bacon
  6. Extra cheese
  7. Black olives
  8. Green peppers
  9. Pineapple
  10. Spinach

Welcome to the SKMB! We're all in agreement here. SK really seems to want a connection with his readers. I've never read another author who always includes a letter to his "constant readers" telling us all about what was going on while writing the book, explaining endings, etc. He's a gem and a gift to us all.
