....I saw the red banner "headline" on MSN, and immediately got sick....this has become FAR to commonplace.....nowhere feels safe anymore....
Prayers to all of those who are affected by this needless tragedy.

They will have a press conference soon on CNN. There most certainly will be evidence - the church broadcasted services every week on utube.
This is terrible. They have confirmed that the Pastor's 14 year old daughter was among the victims.

In case you did not see the news conference. Guy in early 20's. Dressed all in black. Vest. Shooting outside then inside the church. Neighbor came out with his own gun, wrestled with him? Shooter took off in car. Neighbor chased him down in his own car after he tried to get away.
Maybe shot him, maybe didn't. They are not saying.

As well as being very close to members of other congregations. An on-line friend was in a neighbouring church when first responders beepers started going off. She and her kids are friends with some of the victims.
As usual, prayers and thoughts go out to victims. We'll be outraged about another mass shooting and call for change. Then we'll "debate" why this happened (mental health, too little or too much gun control, etc). Then we'll slowly forget this tragedy as we move on with our lives. Then unfortunately it repeats soon enough.......

No kidding, they are at least enablers and at most encouragers! In the doctor's waiting room the other day were two ladies, perhaps mother and daughter or grandmother and granddaughter. The younger wanted to go to a concert and the older was begging her not to. I told them I wouldn't go anywhere unless I really had to (such as the doctor's).
