What's the worst pick-up line you have heard?
When I was pushing one of my kids in their stroller, some very classy dude drove by and yelled "Hey mother, want another?"
Worst pickup line you've ever heard?
A sweater - I find that lately I do not get very cold, like I used to in the past. That's not a pick up line, that's just a dude playing macho.
"Hey, Little Red Riding Hood!" That was not the worst but it's the only one I can remember. I was wearing a red hooded coat so he was kind of spot on, but I was a bit too old to play the little girl.
If you had to give up one item of clothing from your everyday wardrobe, what would it be?
Only one time which coincidentally happened just the other day.A sweater - I find that lately I do not get very cold, like I used to in the past.
Are you sometimes surprised to find that a member here is a woman rather than a guy or vice versa?
That's a difficult one for me (Misery, The Mist, The End of the Whole Mess), but I've got to go with Needful Things because I loved the movie before I even knew it was an sK.Christine , for the most part I think it was really faithful to book. The actors were top notch.
What is your fave adaptation?
When I think of horror movie I always think of Hitchcock's Vertigo, which most people might not consider horror. I do since I see it as a ghost story.I have a soft spot for the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Even though it's not as scary as it was when I was nine, the idea behind it is really brilliant.
What horror movie scares you the most?
My current favorite is psychological thriller.(Hitchcock is a genius)
Not sure if it qualifies as a genre but I like Southern Gothic and any novel with a strong southern narrative. Brad Watson, Silas House, Ron Rash, William Gay are just a few that I love. Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier is a good read, moody and atmospheric without being bleak. Ok, this is more than you asked for, probably.
Do you have a favorite genre?
An older one that made me yell at the screen was Cellular. Despite plot holes it was exciting. I liked Mad Max: Fury Road alot. Guess I'll go with that.
What actor or actress did you feel shouldn't have won an Oscar in the past 20 years?
Sphere, by Michael Crichton.Idk. Has DiCaprio won one? I thought his performance in Shutter Island was outstanding. I am drawing a blank.
What book has made you want to tell everyone you meet about it?
Uh uh - this is not This or That - it is Answer the QuestionBradley Cooper.
Coke or Pepsi
