Apologize if this is in the wrong section. I recall reading somewhere that two women from King's high school days influenced his writing for the Carrie White character. I later read that both of these women may have had a tough life but was unable to find any other info on them or even their actual names. Would anyone know who they were or have any other info on them?

They died. One had epilepsy and had a seizure; the other one I think hung herself.

That I don't know although Stephen says in On Writing that the one that committed suicide was married to a prominent newscaster?/weatherman? I think in Maine, so I think a google search would yield some answers on that one.
I seem to remember their names are mentionned in On writing. Not 100% sure though

I would think less of him if he gave their real names. They were entitled to their privacy. He did not use their real names.
