Yes, and I shopped there a few days after black Friday. I am cringing, because I used my debit card. ( I have to call my bank and get my number changed, request new cards) Grr Hubby will be thrilled.
Have you seen something suspicious on your cards, Becks?
I agree. Will the banks exchange them even if there is no breach on your cards?

I'm asking because I don't own a debit card, but the rest of my family do. And they have definitely been to Target. I have a credit card, but it's hard to use because of all the dust bunnies on it......
I don't cancel my debit card over these kinds of threats because I'd be doing it a lot. Earlier this year my grocery store's system was hacked but I never had any problems. What I do, though, is check my bank account online every day. If you see something suspicious, call and report it immediately and cancel your card. You will not be responsible for the charges. But if the possibility of being a victim is hanging over your head and stressing you out, you should just go ahead and cancel your card!
Out of Order, My bank is pretty laid back, they will replace it if you request a new card.I will replace the card just to be safe. I would rather order one right now, than see something suspicious, cancel and wait weeks to get one.

It is frightening that multi million dollar chain, should have their system hacked putting the target shoppers at risk.
They said on the radio that a woman here in NH lost her entire account.
Grrr! That is so terrible. I feel for the poor lady. I hope that she is able to work with her bank to get it resolved.
I hope so too. They didn't say how much she lost, but you would think it had to be a good amount for it to be newsworthy. Hopefully the bank comes through for her.
This whole situation is just awful and at Christmas is even worse. So many have spent more than they should and budgets are already very tight.

Knowing my luck, can't win the lottery but could be the "lucky" one to get hacked.
