I haven't had any issues with W10 yet. Smooth as silk.
I'm having enough for both of us. Web pages taking forever to load, YouTube videos won't play, and then there's the fact that if you sign in to use the store or play a game, you can't sign out. I don't like the idea of being perpetually signed into a microsoft account while using my computer. It makes me feel like I'm being spied on.

Nothing to worry about.....oh, you have a bit of lint on your blouse.

Sunny, did you use the Edge browser? It' fast, and vieos, and stuff play fine on it. I have not had any issues with it at all. It's been fun finding out the new stiff.
Yeah, I tried it......my experience with it was less than positive. It took it about ten minutes to load. YouTube videos won't play on it for me. Lots of others have reported having the same issues that I've had. I haven't had a lot of time to find new stuff, because I can't find my old stuff....I was willing to sit it out until I realized that I can't actually "sign out" of my microsoft account. I don't like the way that they've tried to make it more like an apple product.....

I've been reading Windows 10 violates your privacy by default and you need to take a bunch of extra measures after installing to protect yourself and keep your personal data private.
About this, you are correct. Microsoft is already reeling from the backlash in the IT world. The weird thing is these 20-somethings have all grown up with a smartphone signed into everything in the world so they won't miss it in case someone uploads a picture of their cat or the poop they took, so they figure their privacy is already gone. Us older dogs knew the PC world when it was still fairly anonymous and we don't like being tracked. It makes me feel like a game animal that got ear tagged.

Watch for them to adjust the privacy policies and auto stuff. As soon as someone's naked selfie gets hacked, they'll reconsider their tacit approval.

Oh it's better than Windows 8 for sure. Somewhere on a cold lonely island live the project managers for Windows ME, Windows Vista and Windows 8. They only get gruel and moldy baloney to eat and dirty water to drink. Most think that is too good for them.
I had all of them. I believe Windows ME was a study in the Infinite Monkey Theorem... which ended early.

BOO! HISS! Microsoft OS makes me :barf:

Best thing I ever did was ditch my Windows based machine for a Mac. No viruses, no system crashes and no unexplained wonkiness in the 7 years I've been using a Mac. Oh yeah, Apple OS upgrades are always free!

Unfortunately, my work laptop is Windows based. Since we are still using Windows 7 at my company I figure they will upgrade to Windows 10 sometime in 2020.........

That's because you are being spied on! By Microsoft. By the Government. By any online retailer you visit. Etc, etc., etc.......

Big Brother is very real and is everywhere. We are in the early stages of 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. Watch out for Skynet and Cyberdyne systems.

Anyway, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you............
