i haven't been to one. it seems like it could be an interesting thing to do, although sometimes in the back of my mind, i feel like that would be the moment i'd decide to go full spaz and just miss the obvious lol.

I haven’t but there is one across the street from where we stay when we vacation in Ocean City, MD. My youngest has done them numerous times. The first time she tried it she said the group almost lynched her. The goal of that room was to find clues to eventually open the safe and escape. She said right off the bat she went over to the safe, tried a couple combinations, and opened the safe on the third try... And ruined the fun for everyone.
I went to a murder mystery dinner party once in my very early twenties, it was in a really big old mansion that used to be a catholic priests retreat. It was amazing fun and quite spooky... I can't remember the details now, but it was probably either the butler, or Professor Plum with a candlestick in the Conservatory. What happens to you if you don't escape? Does your face go on a wall of shame? Or do they get to keep your soul?
THey look like a lot of fun. I think these murder games look fun too. The ones where you go somewhere as a character and you have to be the character throughout the evening to figure out the murderer. Everyone I know are a bunch of deadbeat sticks in the mud. Nobody would want to play.
No, no, no, Flake it was Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the revolver. I've already posted who the culprit was.... Hope you are well by the way ma'am.
