Anyone notice a lot of thematic overlap in recent King novels?

I just read Doctor Sleep and Revival and now am reading Under the Dome back to back. I notice a lot of overlapping themes and motifs and phrases that turn up repeatedly. Extremely so between DS and Revival. Dan Torrance and Jamie Morton almost seem interchangeable at times and shortly after reading their stories I had to check back to verify whether it was Dan or Jamie who had stolen the money from the unfit mother and other points as well. Anyone else notice this? I know he has been known for this sort of thing before, but in these works it seems far more obvious.

Yep, his books often overlap with similar themes. I just purchased a copy of Under the Dome for one dollar at my library. Got chatting to someone whilst waiting for a Starbucks coffee, she told me she had been to Maine, had stood outside Stephen's house and taken pictures. She said there was a whole crowd of people, but apparently he wasn't home at the time. Oh, so lucky. I'm saving my pennies to go....lol. Forogot to mention, she said their were gargoyles on the gates!! Wow.

Cujo and the Dead Zone overlap too. Working at a uni library, I have access to their on-line collection, and there is a wealth of books about King and his works, dissecting both. Oh, I love that job!!!!!! I spend ages online, so much avail..in down times only, of course...!!
