How do you know what edition you are getting from this site?
Anyone order SK from Thriftbooks? Question regarding that site...

The numbers are in this order: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.
You don't know what edition you're ordering, as far as I can tell. kingricefan can tell me if I'm wrong!
You really don't know unless you do your research and make sure when you are looking at a book that lists the CORRECT publication date- meaning if you're looking for an original edition of Carrie, then the date must say 'published in 1974', not 'in 1994', when it may have gone thru a reprint. Chances are if you're trying to get any of those early King titles that you're going to end up with a book club edition. They do put up a photo of the covers so that does help while browsing for titles.
For the price, you can't beat it. I just want to finish up my collection.. and then work on finishing up the first editions... etc

I'd give them a tentative thumbs up. Most are fairly downbeat. I did enjoy them, though. (I don't know what that says about me, though!)
