Actually I think that was Sean Lennon. Julian is not on speaking terms with Yoko Ono.
I missed most of it, was busy here and there but did catch wee snippets. (I had someone updating me on Lorde too, so that was great.
) At 17yrs I think she's doing very well for herself and I just hope that hitting it this big so (reasonably) quickly won't become a problem to her like so many others... I'm relying on her folks to keep a finger on the pulse!
It was really special seeing one of ours do very well, I did feel proud for her and her family.
I know i'm probably in the minority but I REALLY think Macca should give it up already. He played over here for the Olympics/Jubilee or something... People were actually starting "joke" campaigns up offering to pay him if he DIDN'T play at the opening of an envelope over here in the UK. His voice sounded terrible and what IS that thing about dying your hair that weird browny colour (forever referred to as "God that blokes dyed his hair a shade of Paul McCartney" whenever I see a chap with that awful colour on his head). Let it go grey, what the hell is wrong with grey??
I didn't watch them. I did catch a photo of Beyonce and JayZ performing together, and thought it looked a lot like the Walking Dead....

I didn't watch, but saw this pic of Stevie Nicks from the red carpet and she looks fab! Not bad for a 65 year old rock and roll legend!
She played herself on a recent episode of American Horror Story, sang a couple of songs accompanying herself on the piano.
Go Stevie! She is amazing. A real rock and roll goddess!
Thanks GNT! I don't watch the show so it seems bizarre that Stevie would be in this scene... but I'm sure it makes sense in the context of the episode. I love that song.
Sadly, I have to agree. As someone who was a big fan in the 80s and early 90s, I have to say that Madonna has not grown as an artist, performer or person at all. She is still trying to be the edgy youth that she once was and at 50-something years old, it is not working. When she was in her 20s and getting her music played by DJs in the downtown NYC clubs, she was actually fresh and new; there was just something different about her and her music. I think it is time she just quietly fade into the background for a while and reinvent herself in a more mature, professional way. Not sure exactly what that is, but with all her $$, she could certainly pay someone to figure that out for her!

It's a really good show. Quite creepy at times. I haven't seen that episode yet.
It definitely seems like a show that I would like, but I just don't have the time or energy these days to watch a lot of TV, even with DVR, On Demand, streaming Netflix, etc.

About American Horror Story - it scares me to death. I can't watch. I watched the first season and that wasn't so bad, but the second with all the torture -
