I wasn't born in 1974. I always feel like a newb. I didn't read King until 98. It was Bag of Bones and I was 18. I didn't finish the story until years later (I won't disclose how many years it took me to finish). Anyway, I a rookie around here

You picked a good one to start with, though. I didn't start reading SK 'til 1995 or thereabouts, when I was 22. Bag of Bones was the one that really got me hooked, though. It also took me a while to read it - I was always too tired because of work to read for long - but I got there in the end when many another tome got set aside. (Though I've read them all since.)

Check out the house that Carrie lived in ----- very, very simular to the house Stephen lived in as a teen (although I never saw the inside)... One time I drove by and heard a loud audible voice say "Stop in and say 'Hello' to Stephen" ..... I resisted, saying I was in a hurry and would do tomorrow. When I got home, Dad asked me if there was something I weas supposed to do?
only 30? I haven't spoken to Stephen since our 1966 High School Graduation together.... Sad to say....All it takes is begging and pleading for 30+ years!

Why do they always mess covers with ugly type? WHHHYYYYYY!!!!
If you live in the US and are planning on ordering this title from the publisher make sure you change the 'currency' to US dollars. At the top right corner you will see a drop-down menu for currency and flags from different countries and click on the ol' red,white and blue. This way your bank can't charge you for changing from dollars to pounds (publisher is located in Britain).
I like the fonts they chose. Each to their own, right?
Fonts are artwork. Do a Google search about fonts. You'll be surprised at how much history and craftsmanship is involved. I for one love the use of type in a book cover.
