I got 11 out of 14. It says I may be a super recognizer, but need to take additional tests. I'll pass on that.
I'm good with faces; it's names that always get me.
Me too! Can I join your Detective agency? :blues:

I knew I would do well on this because I drive my family bat-poo crazy watching TV and movies and seeing some one that I know was on something else, then talking through the rest of the show trying to remember what it was. :cool2:

Retired teacher, new students each year, can't remember names to save my life! When we I taught a Pre-K class used animal pictures for seating arrangement, cubbie and matts. Nothing like telling you student "Collie" to please sit down.
And this child in the class would have been called what? I know! Dana Jean!

Well, when we start our agency, hopefully my 11 out of 14 and your 11 out of 14 are different and then between the two of us, we will recognize all 14! and we will get awards from the city for our crime solving abilities, and we will talk to Dr. Phil and eat lunch with John Walsh.

We will be batman and robin. (You can be batman because I don't want to mess my hair up with those bat ears.)
A detective agency that has an almost perfect record of finding the criminals except for just a couple of crooks who keep alluding the heroes (that's us) because they can't remember their faces! LOL
That would make a great book (are you reading this SK?).

First of all, "Uncle Jesse, No!"

But, mostly I'm posting this article because it has a little sort of "Super Recognizer" test built in. If you scroll down, there is a slide show of celebrity mug shots. You can cover the captions and see how well you can guess the celebrity based on how they look on a *really* bad day.

I did pretty well. So, apparently I have no idea who you are when I'm actually interacting with you in person, but if I've seen you on "The TV" I'd know you anywhere. Sigmund what does that say about me?

That's what The Internet Movie Database is for! You can search any movie, TV show, even most short films; foreign and domestic, and get a list of everyone involved in the production. Everyone! From the cast and director to the writers and best boy and probably the guy who changes the light bulbs, if you know what his job is called. Then you can click their names and see anything they've worked on.

Most every person listed has a biography, and most every movie etc, has a plot synopsis, trivia section (short interesting facts), quotes, and FAQ. And more!

The IMDb has some pretty cool search functions, too, so if you want to find only movies where Danny DeVito and Billy Idol worked together (I don't think there are any, but if there were) there is a way to check that. You can search for plot elements, or character names, or films made in any location.

I can lose hours clicking from one thing to another, and it often starts just like you say above. We'll be watching something and I'll say, "Oh man, who is that guy? Isn't he the one that was in that other movie? With the pretty lady who hated him at first but them they ended up together And they were running all over trying to get that thing before the bad guys could find it?" (Which, you may notice, is the plot of about eleventy thousand movies....)

So now, I just type whatever we're currently watching into the IMDb and in a few clicks I find the name I'm looking for. I've been known to access it by sticking both my head and my smartphone inside my shirt at movie theaters to I can know RIGHT NOW without (hopefully) annoying the people around me. :a11:

Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
