I am and I just discovered today that we have our own day on the calendar, and oddly, it's on my birthday (Aug 13th). Interesting, huh? I know you are equally enchanted.

I've always been partial to lefties. My mom was a leftie, and so many other cool people are. I guess I like anomalies, (I don't mean that in a bad way), differences from the norm.
I'm the first male on my dad's side in six generations that isn't left handed....so missed out on learning to play guitar which a few of my uncles and dad do very well.....couldn't seem to get the left handed guitar thing down when I tried many moons ago.
So, in yer case the norm is the abnorm!

I am a lefty in everything. I can't even catch or throw well right-handed. I think it's funny when people go, "Oh, your left-handed" I feel like there is more of us now then even when I was growing up. Sons, one is right, one is left, It is really hard to teach writing to a right-hand person when your left-handed!
My mom is left handed, and so are my brother and sister. However, none of my 3 children is left handed, and I can't teach them how to write, use a knife, use a can opener, etc.
My father is left handed (I'm right) and two of my four sons are left handed.
My husband is left handed. I have 2 left handed daughters.
Oh wow, reading this thread, there's a TV show talking about a murder victim who was left-handed, who couldn't have written a name in her blood on the wall!
I can do very few things left-handed. Very right-handed, am I.
I have one leftie son and know of no others on either side of the family.
My son is a leftie. When we were visiting my aunt she noticed and literally had to sit to catch her breath. She said her dad (my dad's dad) was a leftie, and nobody in the family since is. She was so glad to see it resurface in my son. She's actually not correct. i do have one cousin who is a leftie. But when you consider, my grandparents had 12 kids, and each of them had between 5 and 12 children, and I 'm one of the youngest in my generation, so, there a lot in my son's generation, that hundreds of kids....and only two that I know of are lefties.
And my son plays guitar right. Also keeps his mouse on the right side. I suggested he switch it to the left, but he said it's easier to use rightie rather then switch back and forth.

I'm a lefty, but I can do everything with either hand. Write, catch, throw, you name it. None of my kids are lefties, but my middle grandson is a serious lefty. He does everything lefty.

Ha this is a difficult question for me..I throw a baseball,and bat, lefthanded,but write and shoot a handgun righthanded..a rifle or shotgun is lefthanded..but not truly ambidextrous,as trying to write with my left hand is very awkward.I think it hails back to kindergarden catholic school,where the nuns really weren't enamored with lefty's..so they tried to "encourage" right handed writing..
Funny you say that. I was forced to do everything righty for the same reason. In high school, I said "Feck that." and changed. Probably why I can do everything with both hands.
My oldest son is a leftie ... very intelligent .... very artistic ... musically talented as well ..... proud of my leftie !
I've been a teacher almost 27 years, and almost invariably, my left-handed students are creative, artistic, and do well in school. Not that my right-handed students don't do well also...I just have noticed that only 2 or 3 of my left-handed students don't overachieve.

I do most things left handed, except for the things I do right handed. I write left handed, but throw right handed. I bat left handed, but play guitar right handed. I eat and shoot left handed, kick with my right foot, and drive on the right side of the road. (Wait, I guess that last one doesn't count, right?)
