Invasion of the 'Super Roach': Asian Cockroaches Take New York City - US News
"About 20 years ago colleagues of ours in Japan reared nymphs of this species and measured their tolerance to being able to survive in snow," Rutgers insect biologist Jessica Ware said in a statement. "As the species has invaded Korea and China, there has been some confirmation that it does very well in cold climates, so it is very conceivable that it could live outdoors during winter in New York. That is in addition to its being well suited to live indoors alongside the species that already are here."

The first sightings were in 2009 but, reports only come now due to too much partying. By now, with no need for hibernation or structural warmth in winter, they could be everywhere in America. After two hush hush incidents with insect colonies including AfricanAmerican killer bees in the Carribean and surrounding Islands and another in France, and still not learning, I believe this is no coincidence, if you get my meaning.
Trust me, you do not want to push for a fourth incident. Ramona will be fine if she uses a sign for all to see stating 'Protected by God'. Keep that or writing material handy...the rest are on their own.
