Sorry for the enormous photos! I am doing this all from my Kindle (don't judge me, I still buy paper books) and I am pretty sure there are better ways to manage this.

If anyone knows how to shrink these, please do! And if you're exceptionally computer savvy, free free to crawl through the circuitry and change his diaper any time you notice stink lines coming out of the screen.

His name is Torleif, but we mostly call him Tor. Halloween is easy for now, we just snag him a Thor costume and a hammer (he has a zillion play hammers that we call Tor's Hammer already). I want my other kids to dress up as the rest of the Avengers, but they are more into Batman and especially Joker. I have been informed that we can't mix Marvel and DC at one time in one family, or a quantum singularity might form which will kill us all way faster than heart disease or ebola. Alas.

Tor is 2 now. We have 2 birthdays in October, so at the end of the month the kids will be 19, 16, 16, 13 and then Tor. I think we will probably be able to get some decent camping done next summer, or the summer after. :)

Thanks to everyone for being so patient with me, and checking up on me when I'm not able to get in. I'm generally able to keep up on Facebook, in a superficially way at least. It's how I keep up with my family, so I check in more. I don't share much personal stuff on there. Jen Lindner-Green

Hugs and love to all.

He's a corker! Do the older kids help you with him? I have an almost 8 year top between my youngest and next youngest (12 between the oldest and youngest) and am eternally grateful that the older kids loved (and still love) their littlest brother. They WANTED to do things with/for him as a baby, and that's such a blessed thing. My energy level between having the oldest at 27 and the youngest at almost 40 was markedly different--lol.

Thank you for all the compliments. He is a very sweet and easy kid. If he's upset, it's usually because he's hungry or tired. He does have a touch of the "drama" gene, though.

If he's actually distressed, he's just a lump of tears. But if it's for our benefit, he will follow people all through the house, and stage himself in the middle of the biggest crowd he can find. He will do a little pirouette then collapse while crying out, "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!"

The 19 year old and the 13 year old are really good with him. They play with him and help me with him. The twins help too, and they are good to him. But they endure him, where the others enjoy him.

Things were hard for them when he came into the family, so I think they will end up okay in the end. At his age, there aren't a lot of upsides to having a two year old around. He's loud, sticky, smelly, and doesn't have to follow the same rules.

Oh my gosh how he's changed, but still a cutie! Sorry I couldn't figure out how to scale down your photos but I could put them behind a spoiler if you like until someone else can chime in on resizing them.

That would be really helpful. I went back to try to fix it myself, but I must be outside the edit window?

Cute pics lol he is adorable for real

The Tor's Hammer thing is awesome :nerd:

It's a lot of fun! Especially since the movies are out, there are so many Mjölnir hammers out there to choose from!

blunthead, sorry about your eyebone. I hate it when that happens and I have to wear it in a sling. It makes it so hard to wear my hat at that perfect rakish angle.
