Kansas City Library started a book spine poetry battle with Toronto Public Library during the series. It involved BBQ and bacon. I wish I could find one place that had collected all of them in a row. But here's a few.

Red Sox just signed David Price to a 7 year $217m deal!

He's good but his lack of postseason success concerns me. Oh well, at least he dominates in the regular season. Sox now have a legit #1 starter, shutdown 8th inning guy (Koji), and a shutdown closer (Kimbrel). Should be back in the playoff hunt after finishing last the past two years!

That comes out to roughly a million dollars per start.

I am one of the few Toronto fans not upset/depressed/angry.

I like Price. Obviously he is a great pitcher, but he also seems to be a great person.

I cannot say I wish him well....that would be rooting for the wrong team. but I wish him health, and I hope he enjoys his new team and I hope that city enjoys having him.
