What a shocker about Jose Fernandez.
He had such a great personality. Anytime he had an interview or was on TV for any reason, you couldn't help but watch him, he just drew you in. He was a big star down here in South Florida.

Heard that news in the car yesterday on the way to watch the kiddo play fall ball. Sad sad news. Saw a lot of tears watching some coverage late last night on Sportscenter. Big Papi was really upset I guess, but who wouldn't be?

I'm happy Yanks won, especially after that embarrassing four-game sweep.
As to the Ortiz farewell, Red Sox's send-off of Jeter (much-hated by the Sox Nation) and Mo was exceptionally nice. I sincerely hope that the fans return the favor and behave in gentlemanly manner.
