I'll see you your OFF and raise you a Steven Strasburg.
(Okay, the Nats sucked against the Big Blue Florida Fish most recently, but he's still one strong arm.)

I have to be careful because my Red Sux suck this year, but I could actually root for the Nats if they had a different left fielder.

I hate all the attention these young guys get while there are veterans who have been in the league forever and get stiffed. Let him earn his keep for a few more years, then I may warm to him.

I hate Trout too.........:D

Interesting day for the Red Sox. They have traded 4/5 of their starting rotation as well as a few position players. I smell a deal for Giancarlo Stanton and a push to sign Scherzer in the off-season.

The ALCS should be a good one. These two teams don't meet very often in the regular season. I like that there will be a fresh team coming out of the American League.

I'm a huge Dodger fan and I was not happy about the losing. Time to reload in the off season and possibly make some management changes.

Baseball is funny because being the best team doesn't mean a lot in the playoffs. A team just has to get on a roll and they can win it all. I'm a Braves fan and they had all those great years and 1 World series title. The freaking Marlins have 2 World Series titles and have never won their division. I believe they've only been in the playoffs twice. It can be frustrating. I feel your pain. ;-D

The Braves should have won in 1996, but bad luck and clutch plays by the Yankees changed that series. I'm still surprised the Brave didn't win. I've heard Joe Torre say that the playoffs are a crap shoot and it is true.

The Dodgers are the Yankees of the West. Built a team on high priced free agents and emptied their farm system to do it.

Red Sox were lucky the Dodgers were big enough suckers to take on the Beckett, Gonzalez and Crawford contracts in the 2012 trade. We even threw in a Nick Punto for good measure :) Great move for Boston as they dumped over-priced, disgruntled players for a bevy of prospects that will be used to re-build and re-tool. Only thing I didn't like about that trade was losing Gonzalez. Mike Napoli has made up for it though.

All of those great Braves teams were built on pitching. And boy did they have that in spades. They were just always one or two big bats short on offense. American League teams for the most part can hit 1-9. NL teams are at a disadvantage in the WS because of the DH.
