Watching John Lackey pitch last night was like watching paint dry. I was glad when Turner homered just so I didn't have to sit through anymore of his delays. It took him 5 full minutes to throw 6 pitches to Chris Taylor before Turner put an end to things.

Geez, Lackey is still playing? Thought he retired. Guy should be set for life for what the Sox paid him.

Dodgers are up 3 games to none over the Cubs. Hopefully they'll put an end to it tonight.

Yankees and Astros are tied 2 games each. But the Astros have two ace pitchers scheduled for the next two games.

Still hoping for a Dodgers/Yankees World Series.

The Astros blew a great opportunity last night. They were up 4-0 in the 8th and lost. A 3-1 lead with their two aces coming up would have been deadly but they have given the %)@# Yankees hope.

By series I meant the ALCS series. If the Cranks win the ALCS they should beat the Cubs if they pull a miracle out and advance. If the Dodgers take the NLCS they should beat the Cranks. Unless there is an appearance by Clayton Kershaw of Playoffs Past. Then all bets are off!
Luckily Kershaw has looked strong this run.

Am I the only one rooting for the Dodgers?
We're Dodger fans. The wife won't let me watch the games with her. She thinks I bring bad mojo when we watch together. Which is fine with me because she has been yelling non stop at the TV for two weeks now. I won't be able to see game 7 tonight because I'm putting in a 15 hour work day and won't get home till 11:30 pm. Will have to record it. :(

I haven’t been watching. Well, does reading twitter count? Lol

But the two teams it’s down too, I’m rooting for Dodgers.
We’ve watched the Dodgers games the entire post season. And watched the Yankees/Astros AL Pennant race to see who the Dodgers would play in the Series. It’s been an exciting World Series.

I went to record the game tonight on TIVO. I guess with not knowing if there was going to be a game 7 the channel lineup has their regular scheduled shows listed. I set about 5 different shows during the time the game should be on to record. Who knows what I’ll get.

I wish I would have ordered one of those retro jerseys to wear for the Series.

I have Ron Cey's jersey. My dad was the groundskeeper when their training camp was in Vero Beach. I was surprised at how small it is.
