The Phillies are in a rebuilding effort this year. Seems they went for salary relief and are taking chances on youth. But the 2015 doesn’t appear very promising at all. Looks like I will have to look to my #2 team, the Dodgers, if I want to watch some good ball.

I will be watching and going to several of the local LV Iron Pigs games (The Phillies Triple A team). On May 8 they are having a Star Wars day and wearing a cool jersey that looks 3-D. They will also be auctioning off the player’s jerseys and will be signing them after the game. I can’t make the date because it is the same day as my daughter’s Spring Choral Recital, but I might still try and bid on a couple of jerseys for players I think will make the big leagues. Who knows, it might be something special to Star Wars collectors in a few years.
