Haven't heard anything on Steph Curry's injury yet. I hope it's not serious. I hate when the best players get knocked out of the playoffs. If he's not able to come back, I would think that San Antonio will be the favorite. They may be anyway, even with a healthy Curry. To me, San Antonio looks more awesome than usual this year.

Sprained knee. Out at least two weeks.

Now Chris Paul is gone for the playoffs with a broken hand. I hate to see another superstar gone for the playoffs. There's no way the Clippers can survive without Chris Paul. The Warriors can survive if Curry can come back in two weeks but if he isn't at least close to 100 percent for the Spurs, the Warriors will be done too.

Funny, I don't usually equate injuries with basketball, although this year certainly seems the exception. The Celtics are down two key players as well.

The Celtics have a pretty good team. They seem to take quarters off (like Miami does) and it gets them into trouble sometimes but when they are clicking, they are good. I think Boston, Charlotte & Miami are all very good this year and they are all capable of giving the Cavs a good series.

It's looking like another San Antonio year to me.

The Celtics are going to be good for a while it would seem. I believe they have the first ten picks in this years's draft.:D

Celts are 1 superstar player from being a dominant team.

I feel that way about The Heat too but The Heat have a major Chris Bosch money problem that could really hurt them next year. If Bosch's career is done, the Heat still owe him $20million next year that counts against cap space. Apparently, his blood clots were discovered a few days after the date where they could have claimed an exemption for his 20 mil. So, if Bosch is done, there's no Bosch and no 20 million to spend either. They are going to need to spend a lot to keep Whiteside so they could really use that 20 mil for someone else.

Kevin Durant is a possible free agent that could make a few teams in the East instantly awesome.

I'm surprised the Celtics lost to the Hawks. All of the other series went like I thought they would (except for the Clippers but no way were they winning after the injuries). So now we have

Golden State vs Portland (I'm picking Golden State)
OKC vs San Antonio (I'm picking San Antonio)
Miami vs Toronto (I'm picking Miami - Homer pick)
Atlanta vs Cleveland (I'm Picking Cleveland)

If all goes according to my picks, then I think the series between Golden State and San Antonio will produce the NBA champ. I think San Antonio is going to win this thing.

The Heat won game 1 against The Raptors. I think they should lead the series 2-0 because they had to win the game twice tonight. ;-D They blew a 6 point lead with 19 seconds left and had to win in overtime.

Jurassic Park went crazy.

And people with the good seats couldn't get back to them, lol.

That was a crazy finish. Luol Deng made some horrible inbound plays in those last seconds. Should be a good series. I think the teams are pretty even.

I'm not in to basketball. My grandson is though. We gave him tickets for Christmas, to a farm team game. He was happy but not thrilled. Then he actually went to the game and he was ecstatic.

Since the baseball game wasn't starting until 10:15, I flipped the Raptors game on.

I have come to the conclusion this game is as opposite of football as possible. Moves as fast as hockey. And those last seconds can change everything.

OKC beat the Spurs. I didn't see that coming. I thought the Spurs were going to win it all. The way OKC is playing, they should give Golden State all they can handle. I think Golden State will win but it won't be a coronation.

I'm not sure if the Heat and Raptors can handle any more injuries. Both sides are getting depleted.
