I've recently just heard this song in its entirety and was surprised to find it was a hit some 25 years ago. It has a vibe that I think would work well on a soundtrack for a movie based on a King story.

This version with the western feel to it has a Dark Tower vibe for me although I never imagined Roland walking around bare-chested. ;-D Sorry for the ad at the beginning.

Every year I pick an obscure song that would fit my cousin’s voice (who sings in a band) to do when they come down for Memorial Day weekend ...after the drinks are flowing and the karaoke is playing. So this year I pick this excellent song, but with my luck it isn’t available anywhere on karaoke. :(

Speaking for myself, the bare-chested enticement isn't necessary. He's already got that bad boy allure thang goin' on.
Though I probably wouldn't complain if he did.... :biggrin2:

One of my favorite groups from back in my hippie days. Still have this album but haven’t listened to it in decades. Always thought some of the chords on this song were kinda ripped off by a super group on their biggest hit. Now some 40 years later I understand the super group is finally being sued because of it. It appears Spirit opened up for the group once, and two years later the mega-hit in question came out by the headliner of the tour.

Can you guess the super group and the song in question?

Here is another controversy from the same supergroup. Jake Holmes opened for the Yardbirds and had this song on his 1967 album.
