Me too, I just want it over with. The false good cheer drives me nuts. I will send BH to bed and have two glasses of Chardonnay while watching my favorite soap which I DVRd this afternoon; mass tomorrow and then lets get on with 2015.

Since we aren't night owls and can't make it to midnight, we always go out to dinner on New Year's Eve. This year, we're eating at our favorite chinese restaurant. Over dinner, we always talk about our regrets from the past year and share our resolutions for the coming one. It's a nice mellow way to say goodbye to the old and usher in the new.

The biggest! We make horrible-for-us appetizer foods that we only eat on NYE (lol), play games, listen to 80s music, and watch movies until midnightThe kids might even all be here this year--two oldest don't have parties (as of right now) for the first time in a few years, #3 is getting sick so she's staying home, and LilMan is only 8. I love this kind of NYE

No doubt the old dribble will turn in early and I'll be sat up on my own reading Revival until the early hours of 2015.
