It has been great. A lot of medical relief. Able to pay more of the bills. My family doctor started this out by handing me $100 dollars and telling me my bills with her for 2013 is wiped out. Oh my,I cried like a baby. Got home from this appointment.
My husband tells me his employer was buying a months household bills. To relieve us of so much medical with my eyes. Will have the third surgery on the 6th of January . By this happening we have enough cash to pay in full this surgery and a couple of injections.Again I cried.
Then in the mail my niece sent my son a box of gifts and $200 for my Christmas. Then my sister sent my son 3 or 4 gifts. Needless to say money has really blessed my eye sight this month. Farther treatment not as stressing about how to pay for it.
The biggest blessing. Our sons biological mother(Our wild child) blessed him and sent a box of gifts and $50 money order for his shoes. First real effort she has made in 9 years. Perhaps she realizes what she has lost due to her addiction. Up date on my sons biological sisters. They are permentily in my oldest daughters custody and adoption is in progress. Relieves alot of stressful worries.
I felted so blessed by all. Overwhelming relief.
My son donated 50-60 stuffed animals to our local police dept. for their annual Christmas to families in need. He and my husband play the little crain type machines and then donate the animals to a charity after we get several. hes excited as he gets a tour of the police station and gets to meet the chef of police after the new year. Been a great Christmas.
How about for all of you. i certainly hope all were blessed .

Yes King Family Fan - we are blessed too. I am so happy for you that things are working out as well as they have.

We are just blessed to not be out on the streets and living in a comfortable house, with plenty of food, warmth and caring people. We have our two cats who are in good health and a real comfort. I have this board to come to and post on, plus all the nice people I have befriended on SKMB.

Good for your son - I hope he has a great time at the Fire Station! I guess in counting my blessing I should be thankful that my special needs son has met a very nice girl and they have been going out for almost a year. I never saw that coming!

Andy, my husband, is home now and I am grateful to have the company and companionship.

So overall, thanks for reminding me of how good life is and that I should be more grateful and count my blessings. I think it's important to be thankful and look at life in a positive light. Take care KFF!

...happiness?...I've been VERY happy most of the time-blissful all the time just isn't possible in a REAL relationship, and I have been quite the cross to bear for Tracy in these two decades...I am difficult to be around sometimes, and insensitive and blundering for sure...so I'm sure my level of happy is somewhat higher on the scale than hers, but she need never doubt the purity of my love...thank you darlin' for the good wishes, and I will continue to strive to be as least an ass as I can be...:biglove:

Christmas miracles, KFF. May the blessing continue into the New Year.

Scott, my heart jumps with joy to know you and Tracy were able to see the boys. Christmas magic abounds.
...I miss him so much dammit!...and yes, it was good-we hope to see him again today and get some things ironed out before he goes back to Missouri...

I hope you and your son can see eye to eye now that he is becoming more mature. Maybe boot camp/basic training will help him appreciate his Mom and Dad more - good for him for coming around at this special time of the year
