I was almost 7 when he was killed and I vaguely remember the news coverage (the same with MLK) when it happened. Over the years as I've read about Bobby and seen documentaries about him, he has fascinated me. He changed a great deal from 1960 to 1968. One thing that always comes through about him (whether you agreed with him politically or not) is that he genuinely cared about the country and the people. He was a lot more than the typical politician that takes whatever viewpoint will get him or her elected.
There is a good doc on netflix called Bobby Kennedy for President. I say it's good but have only seen 1 episode of 4. The other 3 episodes may suck but I expect them to be good.
